Turning over a different chapter,

I want to start off with how sick disgustingly sick I am. I'm constantly coughing all over the place and sanitizing my hands 24/7. I have a bottle of hand-sanitizer in my purse, and one big bottle next to my desk at work. I can be a huge germ freak at times...so being sick is and could be the worst thing for me. Especially when I get sick, I get super sick so I try my best to stay healthy. I've never had a hangover in my life, but having a throbbing headache comes close, I guess. I was a couch potato all day yesterday and finished Modern Family season 2, and watched one of my favorite movies, Marley and Me with the pup, and wanted to cry and hug him while watching it. Being sick makes me feel vulnerable. I hate it. I'm also sick on the week of New Year's Eve too. Really hoping that I'll get better soon, and starting the year off with a good start and good health!

On another note, Christmas this year was quite disappointing. I was raised in a festive and family-oriented housewhole and this year we didn't do much. No Christmas dinner with ham, gingerbread house, or tons of truffles to spare. This year, didn't really have a big dinner, just the usual sissy and cousins dinner. I finally got to go back to Disneyland after my pass was expired for 4 months now and it was disappointing as well. No fake snow, the lights were super dimmed, and my clam chowder bowl was cold and hard as a rock. Guess that's what happens when you go on Christmas day. Overall, I honestly hope it's not like this for the future Christmases because I think I would just stop celebrating it. It's not like I'm complaining about not getting material things, I'm just complaining about not being able to spend my Christmas this year with my family like we always do.

Although, I did have a White Elephant gathering with Deuce's, second Christmas with them this year, and that was tons of fun. Most fun I've ever really had with them. Everyone was ridiculously drunk, singing, and might I add, puking or trying to puke everywhere. Kind of gross, but like I always say, bad choices (fun ones) make great stories. Thank goodness for me, even after running around for a good hour having a Nerf gun battle with the boys, I managed to hold down my alcohol. Only a few rug burns and a full belly for me. I ate so much I couldn't even breathe through my xsmall dress. Most of us spent the night/passed out at Joelle's falling asleep like baby cubs on the floor, it was pretty much the highlight of my week/Christmas.

Johnson also kicked my butt with the gifts by giving me a sock monkey knitted beanie, real stainless steel Bat A Rangs, a mustache bottle opener, and premium Disneyland passes for us both! Last year when I purchased it, I only got deeluxe, but this year I have premium which means no block out dates AT ALL! :") I'm a happy camper. He's getting his gifts late from me, which gives me more time to outdo him. Nothing wrong with a little boy/girl-friend competition. I also received a lot of awesome gifts from my ohana. Kat got me the Marilyn Monroe glass coaster set + cups which I ADORE sososo much. My mom got me a thick Winter jacket, even though she bought me a size 7-9 for girls. Thank goodness I fit it. Karina got me the Audrey Hepburn cup sets as well, and Joelle got me a sock monkey knitted beanie so now I have two! :") Loveloveloveee my gifts. Johnson and I also double-teamed during White Elephant to get the big Nerf gun, which I can't stop playing with now, and I got the Game of Things. I honestly do think that I have one of the best boyfriends there possibly is.

5 more days until New Year's Eve! I really cannot wait :") A new year, a new beginning, with the same loved ones. No resolutions this year for me. I haven't really made resolutions since I was 13, that was when I realized, if you want something to be done, just do it. Don't hope for it, don't wish for it, just do it. Only thing I'm keeping in mind is to lay off the sugar so my body can be conditioned to be without it. Anyway, hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and will have an awesome New Year's! Time to put our party hats on, toodaloos! :") xx
